Bread products give you carbohydrates, which are one of the six nutrients. Carbs actually give you a lot of energy. Are you eating whole wheat? If so, you will feel a lot better, seeing as it has more nutrients and less sugars in it as white bread does.

You may lose some weight, but actually whole grain breads are actually good for you. White bread, white flour crackers and all that are not really supposed to be healthy for you, but I had a doctor tell me that eating whole grains in your every day diet are great for you! They help aid in the digestive process, regulate you, and if you don't eat too much whole grains, you can still lose weight, if you need to. Personally, I don't see how you are that strong willed to do this. If I took cereal, bread, crackers, croissants, and all of the grains out of my diet, I would not have any energy at all because my diet isn't balanced to begin with, so the grain products actually do help me with some helpful carbs and they definitely help to fill me up.

To be honest, I do not know if you will actually improve your diet without any bread or grain type of products in your diet. My doctor says these are things that you actually need every day and the more whole grains the better. Even Weight Watchers allows you a certain amount of carbs, breads, and whole grains every day. Have you consulted with your doctor about whether this is going to be healthy for you?

Best of luck to you!! :-)

well you need carbs which most people get from bread. i dont see how it will benefit you in the long run since you need about 8 servings a day of bread products.

Eat whole grain breads, they are better for you. I dont think its a good idea to completely remove grain from your diet. But you should lose weight.

I know white bread has no fiber. But I see no reason you can't eat whole wheat bread, unless you can't tolerate gluten. You do need fiber, whether you get it from whole wheat, oatmeal, or other sources. You are absolutely correct, white breat is pretty deficient in nutrition.

white bread, is one of the largest sources of intestinal gas that I know of. Plus,It supplies a lot of empty calories. Carbohydrates can be consumed in much more nutritious food .

go wheat free altogether. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!
