Your identity is a Hamburger right? Pretty silly, though i've been guilty of this fallacy too, isn't? Identity trumps beliefs any day of the week, anyone else???

Dastardly: Nice, you have to believe in the hamburger to eat it, otherwise it's not in existence, right?

Interesting!

The Hamburger is ingested by the body!

Belief is external to Identity.
We then Identify with that Belief
the Belief then becomes our Identity

However Identity is fundamental to every thing.
even a gain of sand has a simple though passive identity, but has no belief.

So Identity is a requisite and a requirement.
Where as Belief is just an add on.

So I would say that you are right.
In my humble opinion.

Belief becomes the identity, just as the hamburger becomes the body. Change your belief and change your burger...say no to pickles!!!
