I am back in my home country and now i can do braces......However, I will be attending a new high school......i am a sophomore....If i put braces, i would be wearing them for about two years....By the end of high school, my braces will be taken out.....Is the braces worth? Please help me.....

I am back in my home country and now i can do braces......However, I will be attending a new high school...I had a lot of cool friends in my old high school.....i can say that i was pretty popular and cool among my friends and girls....i wear glasses occasionally like watching TV or movies......i am a sophomore....If i put braces, i would be wearing them for about two years....By the end of high school, my braces will be taken out.....Is the braces worth? Plus, I am scared that girls wont talk to me because of the braces........So, Please help me.....

Yes braces are worth it! This is the age when you can fix your teeth. I had braces in high school (9th-11th grade) and I was cute with my braces on, it was way better than the way my teeth looked with out braces, I wouldn't even smile without covering my mouth,but once I had my braces on, I was more confident, and of course after they were off, I was just fine. Get your braces now the longer you wait the more painful it will be. No it does not make you an outcast or a nerd, unless you already are one with out the braces. Like I said, I was cute with my braces no one teased me. They are worth it just wait until you see how beautiful you smile will be after you are done with your braces.

They're absolutely worth it! You can deal with 2 years of some harmless teasing if it means spending the rest of your life with a beautiful smile, can't you? Trust me, in a few years, you'll be thrilled that you decided to do it. And they don't make you an outcast or nerd. When I had mine I thought for sure it was the only thing anyone would ever notice about me, but when I got them off, I asked a friend why he hadn't mentioned me not having them and he said he never noticed that I had them to begin with.

Yes. They are worth it. I had braces for two years (my last two years of high school) and now my teeth are fine. As long as you keep your braces clean (from food and stuff like that), you'll be fine. They'll grow on you.

yes they are totally worth it! Surprisingly, with braces, you will not look like a nerd at all... If you want an awesome smile by graduation, this is your chance! Braces are totally worth it!

You can get braces that are put on the back of your teeth. They are expensive, but nobody can see them. Also, there is invisalign.

No.they make colored designer braces and glasses these days.Used to be horrible to have either in the 1970's.

I had Glasses and Braces in 7th grade;I was feared :D

Well, a lot of people these days have braces....I'm guilty myself....but if you also have glasses you will be called a nerd.

no they do not make you a nerd you just have to dress right don't pick to brilliant of a color make it kinda melow green is okay but don't pick black or purple or something like that braces aren't bad just don't make them wrong

They are worth it. You'll me a so proud of yourself. Their will be a big change to your appearance.The question above nerd or outcast. Neither one. Smile. You will be fine.
