Really... St. Lucifer somehow made the Catholic church mad, and they put his name in texts to villanize him... have you read the history of this?

This link is from the Catholic Church describing how they did this:

Just for our historian, as I agree with your philosophy of documentation:

"His feast day in the Catholic Church is May 20. His name demonstrates that "Lucifer" (meaning "light-bringer") was not yet merely a synonym of "Satan" in the 4th century. However, hasty references by enthusiastic 19th century biblical scholars assumed from the name that the Luciferians were Satanists. Therefore, although his cultus has not been suppressed nor his canonization reevaluated, he is not often celebrated or spoken of in the calendar."

This don't mean a thing if man is not in agreement with the Word of God concerning all things, it doesn't matter.

We know that there was an High Arch Angel named Lucifer but was cast out of the heavens because he wanted to take God's position and rule. He is not to be glorified nor admonished because he is in the world today deceiving, seeking whom he may devour and destroying peoples lives that let him. Satan or the devil is another name he is called by.

I usually like your posts, but this one is way off. The link you give doesn't say it was a saint, nor does it make any claim that they tried to link him to Satan in texts (which I believe is what you're suggesting).

Lucifer is mentioned once in the Bible, in the OT. Historians believe it refers to the Babylonian king during the time of the Babylonian captivity, as one of his common titles really was "light-bringer" which is what Lucifer literally translates to. The whole thing about him falling from grace is allegorical. Connecting this figure with Satan came much, much later (the same way that many Christians insist the snake in Eden was Satan, even though such a fact is never stated in the Bible)

In Job 1 and 2, Satan's true nature is revealed. He is no saint, but a fallen angel whom hates God. God made a bet with him, and the Devil lost the bet. Look what Lucifer (Saint?) did to Jobs children. He will be distroyed by God, not sainted.

This is all long before the Chatholic church was formed.

did you know that Lucifer is not a Hebrew word and should not even be in the bible? Lucifer is a Latin word that means light bearer. It is also a roman astrological word that means morning star or Venus. Just a little information on how the church steals a word and then bastardizes that word to instill fear into those that choose to follow such foolishness.

Just think:

If the Catholic Church still had the same authority today, we'd be calling Satan by the name "Hillary".

"Away with you, into the fires prepared for Hillary and her angels..."

I don't know but it may very well be possible.

Lucifer is just a name that has probably been given to several entities.

Yes, but it's probably just a coincidence, of course.

Coincidence, I tell ya.

No, no! Coincidence!
