I DISAGREE! so please yahoo, let me know if i/my teacher is wrong.

I've always heard that things work much the way the first two posters have said. My experiences have taught me otherwise.

It's often 11:00 PM before I can stop for dinner. It's usually my big meal of the day. And, I've been doing this since 1979, the year I decided to open my own business. I've never, nor am I now, overweight. My blood pressure is good as is my ldl level.

I realize that there are people out there that drink Jack Daniels and smoke nonfiltered cigarettes right up 'till their death at age 92 because they stepped out in front of a bus they didn't see. But that's no justification for drinking and smoking.

The scientific community changes it's mind about the human body more often than I change my socks. Not that there's anything wrong with science. Our bodies are incredibly complicated and we don't fully understand how they work. It's quite possible that your health teacher is right and I wouldn't have heard yet.

Lions always sleep after eating. Ever see a fat lion?

you're suppose to eat a big breakfast, good lunch, and lighter dinner. your food turn to sugar or protein, sure you will put on weight. take the person very little exercise, guess what, weight gain.the rules are you should exercise to burn off the calories, if not, you gain weight.
