This is right down the road from my house. Here is the website: http://www.baltimoremartialarts.com/

Anyone know anything about that school or if it looks pretty good? Is mixed martial arts a bad thing to take instead of focusing in one?

Here is what the website says:

"Mixed Martial Arts classes at the Baltimore Martial Arts Academy combine the striking techniques of Kung Fu, Karate, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Kickboxing with the throws and grappling of Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The result is a system that takes the best of striking, throwing and grappling and combines them to form one discipline. Emphasis is placed on self defense applications and physical conditioning. All classes are taught by the owner and chief instructor, Sensei Gary Berger. "

Yes. Join up and learn.

Mixed martial arts doesn't mean they are going to teach you everything. It is one of their programs. But I am sure you can learn from all the programs separately.

Combined in one usually means not very good at any of them. The dojo are sometimes run by guys who attained low belt rank in a few styles put the rest together from video types presto instant expert or master.
You would do better learning one style and adding what you want to it not what some mcdojo operator says you should practice or works only for him.

"Shaun is currently a third degree black belt under Sensei Gary Berger’s style of Modern Kung Fu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu."

Let me guess, Sensei Gary's a 10th degree black belt in BJJ?
