Internet on PS3?

I was curious if I could hook up the ethernet cable from my PS3 to my lap top and would be able to play online?

i wanna know if i could use the lap tops wire less connection through the ps3 and play online games

Most PS3s (except for the 20GB model, i think) have Wi-fi built in , so you ought to be able to set it up to use the same connection your laptop does.

You can use an wireless adapter that will make your computers signal into a wifi signal. Or just get a wireless router...there kinda cheap these days.
