I love the fact that we are responsible for our own actions- no blaming a god who didn't come through (if we ask a god or goddess for help, we realize that sometimes what we ask is not worthy, or we haven't asked in the right way or for the right reasons). I love the simplicity of it, the honoring of nature and humanity, the lack of judgment, the lack of coercion (no pagans are out proselytizing and threatening people about hell), and the individuality of it. No two pagans believe exactly the same way.

The ability to choose,I am also classed as an atheist because I do not believe in deities,my path is the reverence and respect ofthe earth,I follow the seasons and watch animals and admire their ways and try to be as harmonius and in accord with nature,I believe science has yet to find answers to many questions but has more gainsway than religion in general...I worship humanity in away but not in a true theist sense...so pagan or atheist or maybe the same by my own definition I believe in no gods and claim to have no answers, yet, to all lifes mystery's but I do feel a kinship with nature and I believe the mind has yet to be studied enough to answers to some of nature anomalities....

I like the freedom; I am responsible for my own actions and I don't have to worry about being judged by my deities..
I enjoy that the practice is hands-on.

That fact that most pagans I have met really respect themselves and the world around them. My beliefs just bring me such a sense of comfort and peace.
