How about instead of worshiping cars, money, things, houses, stuff, and god, we worship each other ??
God is pictured in most religions as a wise all knowing, benevolent, loving, humble, deity, BUT he wants us to bow at his feet ? and grovel before him?
I do not think so

Worship is not groveling. Your suggestion is exactly what God admonished us NOT to do, and what has led to all sorts of calamity already.

The ego accomplishes that now! And look at our world - any improvement over the worship of a loving God? I haven't seen it! God of love does not require grovelling - He requires love in return to accomplish all that human endeavour is capable of in living and loving.

The world doesn't need a church at all - and nobody needs to worship anything or anyone. It's possible to love each other without all that.
