This is an actual attitude among some Christians. The quote above is a paraphrase from St. Thomas Aquinas.

That's really a pathetic way of thinking.

The last thing I will be thinking about is hell or those in hell. That's just silly and morbid! Heaven is heaven because that is where our Saviour lives. He will be the focus of our attention, not those in hell. We witness, teach, and sound the alarm now to nonbelievers. But if you don't take heed while you still can, I nor any other Christian will be carrying that burden with us into heaven. Our job is done. As Jesus said, "It is finished."

Yeah, but try and get the concessions for the hot dogs, pizza, and beer, I'll bet the Jews of old got there first, and of course there are no lawyers there to sue it away from them.

St. Thomas was a funny guy, to be sure.

not one is justified but Christ...there is nowhere that i can remember(NT) that it says we should enjoy the sufferings of
others....

in the OT there was a certain satisfaction in defeating an enemy
but i don't remember gloating over them to be really part of the
victory...

Absolutely not. That idea is totally foreign to Scripture, and is blasphemy, and abhorrent to the Almighty. He died so you would not have to die. He takes no pleasure in your death. Certainly He would not consider torture!

Link me to a Christian with this attitude, I'd like to see it.

If you're just making it up, are you man enough to delete this question? It's dumb and it makes you look dumb.
