Why do you presume that anything conscious created the world. Consciousness is a function of life because it helps us to survive in hostile environments. The universe is natural, and as such, in all likelihood has no consciousness and no "need" to survive or not.

You would think so, but who is to say that the Universe was created at all, and if so, by what? We cannot assign attributes to, or expect anything from, that which we do not even perceive.
To answer your question, though: let's assume for a moment, hypothetically, that the Universe had a creator. It does not necessarily follow that said creator should declare anything to its creation. This is a non-sequitur. This is one of the reasons why I think that we created gods and not the other way around - we assign OUR traits to THEM. My answer to your question, then, would be "no".
There is also the issue of who or what created the creator, whether the infinite digress terminates, and if so, in what, but those are beyond the scope of the question.

Then who's going to stand up when it is asked who created the creator? The point is if everything has to be created for them to exists then the so called being has to have a creator inorder to exist and the cycle would have no end unless someone declares that it just came into being which means a creator was not necessary which means things can just come into being.
I consider myself ahead of the curve, I didn't have to die before I found out I was being lied too about a deity existing.

*blinks* Why do you think the universe has a creator? If it does, then who created the creator? You can't have the creator always have existed because by your own admission, everything must have been created.
I don't really care if the nonexistant "creator" thinks it has the right to torture its "creations" or not. It doesn't.
This imaginary "creator" either reveals himself to his "created" or he doesn't get worshipped.
Frankly, if the "creator" is as selfish as you religious claim he is, then why would you worship the bastard anyway?

There is also the Deist view, in which, God created the whole Universe, working under certain precise laws and left it working on its own. No interventions, no God.
