I will be picking up a friend at Los Angeles Airport, ive never been to LAX, because I mostly go to the San Diego Airport; I have heard parking can be expensive @ LAX; also for the parking, I would like to go inside LAX to wait for my friend rather than drive up and pick up; Any more suggestions thank yoou sooooo much!!!

Parking at LA is going to cost you if you insist on meeting him in the terminal. But I think that this is probably not a great idea. They don't allow you to meet people at the gate any more because you need a ticket to get anywhere close to the airplanes. So what we generally end up doing is the LAP at La. We cruise the circle until you spot your friend on the curb.
So have him call you as he enters the airplane when leaving to make sure the plane is on time. Then check with the airline to determine whether the flight has had any problems and is going to be in on schedual. When your friend hits the curb have him ring you on your cell phone and work out the hook up. Trust me, you don't want to wait in the terminal but if you do, find the closest parking to your airline and suck up the price. You shouldn't get charged for much more than a couple of hours.
