I work at LAX. Just got home from there in fact. If you go inside the airport and wait, you MUST park in the parking lot. There is absolutely no curb side waiting. Do you two have cell phones? If you do....Lots B & C have 2 hrs of free parking. He could call you when he arrives and you can drive in and have him be outside. You are allowed to park your car at curb side for immediate loading of luggage and passengers. NEVER leave your car unattended, it will be towed immediately. The TB Terminal is 1/2 way thru the airport. It goes....Terminal 1, T-2, T-3, Tom Bradley, T-4, T-5, T-6, T-7. But...coming into The Bradley Terminal means he is coming from out of the country and spend 1 to 2 hours going thru Customs. If you need more help, email me at... kingsleydr60@yahoo.com

Just be aware - that while you can enter the terminal, you can not go back to the gate. There is a large area where everyone crowds around as people clear customs.

When entering LAX - stay in the 2nd lane closest to the center lots and watch the signs. If you stay in the far left lane, you will be forced to turn before you get to the Tom Bradley terminal.

I would call before you leave for the airport to check if there are any delays on their flight - this will prevent you from waiting for hours in the airport.

Parking in the short term lot will run you:
$3 for first hour or fraction thereof; $2 for each additional 30 minutes or fraction thereof

try to arrive at LAX when your friend arrives at the airport, you should mapquest it and check the estimated time and then figure out what is the best time to leave your area. i think if you park at the parking structure it'll prolly be 10 dollars at most, unless you stay there for a very long time because parking is charged by an hourly rate, hope this helps.

I just went in and parked in the parking structure across from the airline. I met my friends at the gate and we walked across the street to the parking structure and it all cost me $3.00.
