This may indeed be the delusion God said He would send.
The emerging church is one I warned others of for quite some time, but none listened...I hope enough people see it for what it really is.
What I do know, is that worship isn't worship anymore in many places...it has become entertainment for the sheep instead.
There is a subtle shift in theology, and all this...
I think of Jude 11, and I think it doubtful that would ever be preached on in those churches.

I think that there are two main views of what that church is about. One is that the church is following in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul...

1 Corinthians 9:19 Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

The other view is that it is a church guided by human effort and reason rather than by the Holy Spirit and it is seeking to use worldly methods to reach the lost rather than God being at work and drawing people to Christ.

Which view is correct? God only knows for sure.
