im getting a bass guitar for christmas...?

i was thinking of getting a cheap warwick but if theyre too expensive what would be a good brand around £200-300?
im a beginner..

Well, I know Epiphone has nice bass guitars. Go to guitarcenter.com or musiciansfriend.com and check out prices for their Epihpone basses.

Get a begginer pack for a bass guitar. Fender has good starter packs for cheap.

Go to your local music shop and see what's on offer. Some places have good Christmas deals on. If you have an expert friend, take him along. Hope this helps.
