If the Lord God gave a revelation of what was to come, and you didn't reveal it, then, that would be DISOBEDIENCE, and the Spirit of God is given to those that OBEY Him...
There are also spirits that communicate with certain people . They need to check themselves,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,because they could be EVIL.
Also, there are those that prophesy of themselves, and lead astray...whose damnation is upon them...

We all have the ability, but what your really asking isn't just about the future. The question really stems from this, "If mankind had the ability to choose, would it be a sin to do so?" On that note, I shall post that question for it has struck a sense of indulgence that I would like to feast apon. May your spirit grow strong in the world.

Well, if I had the ability to predict the future, I do not believe it would be a 'sin' to use it, because it would be apart of me and it is the way in which you apply the gift that determines its use. If I was indundated with catastrophic information of the future, I would do everything in my power and existence to alter the outcomes by spreading the news- even if people thought I was crazy.

It all depends on where this knowledge comes from, of course. If it's based in the occult (or any occult-related practices) then it certainly would be a sin to use it. If the knowledge of the future comes from God (word of knowledge, prophecy, etc) then it should be used as God gives it to you. The knowledge itself isn't good or bad; it's the source that counts in this case.
God wants all His followers to come only to Him for all out spiritual needs. He's said He's enough for us. If He isn't enough for you, and you want Him to be, ask Him. Ask Him what you're missing and how to get it. Then listen, please. Far too many of us rattle off a long list of wants to God and then go on about our business as if He's not there. Prayer is about relationship. Talk to and with Him. He answers, but you need to listen. Don't take the first thought in your head after praying as God's voice. Test it and see if it is.

depends on when, why, how you use it.
That all lines up with God's revealed word and the Message of the Holy Spirit.
just like a gun. you can shoot a wolf about to kill a child, or you can shoot the cop guarding the bank....
-------------------------
as for glitter,
knowing something and being responsible for it are two different things that are not bound together.
if that is so, then I should put the blame on you for the deaths of hundreds of africans dying of aids and famine and you are sitting there at your computer, spending God knows what amount of money on entertainment and vanity. When you could have saved at least 1 child.
But I guess even if you knew that, you would easily pass the blame onto someone else and say they should do it for you..
If you can get off the hook for something you know and could stop, then why cant God use your excuse?
There once was a girl who hated God for allowing thousands of people to die from poverty. She shook her fist at God and said, You didn't do anything. (All this while she holds more than a thousand dollars on the palm of her hands)
God looks at her and says, poor child, asking me to send help when she is my delivery girl.

If you had any type of knowledge whatever, how could it possibly be a sin to use it?
