...or is it just mine? He's an 11 year old Border Collie and as soon as the programme came on to BBC 2, he ran to the TV, lay down in front of it, and is whining and making really funny moaning noises at the other Border Collies and the sheep! Any other dogs watching it?

My dog barks at other dogs on the TV so I tend to avoid them.

Plus I wouldn't watch One Man and his Dog even if I was paid to.

Yeah my Border Collie pup and my Collie/lab cross love watching that any programme like it. My Collie lurcher loves watching 101 dalmations (live action version), every time I put it on he sits in front of the tv, barks when the dogs do, and growls at Cruella. It's really cute.

My cat is facinated by that actually. The dog is too neurotic today to sit still for five minutes.Hang on, the cats just given him a smack in the face for distracting him from the tv. lol

I did when I was a kid - when there were only 3 channels and one tellly in the house that we kids had absolutely no control over, and it was strangely fascinating, I love dogs though and always wanted them to do well!

my springer was watching it. Every time they whistled he turned to me as that's how I recall him.then when he realised I didn't want him he went to the TV and sat in front of it waiting for a biscuit as that's what he normally gets when he responds to a whistle.
