It depends,
It depends on the type of metal. If the metal is ferromagnetic it is more of a problem.
It also depend on whether the metal is fixed to the clothing, which is better than it flying off.

If you have had an MRI and afterwards realized you had metal on your clothes, which is still there than don't worry about it.
If you notice that the metal is no longer attached then it may be a very large problem for the hospital if the metal is fixed to the MRI scanner.

Its kind of like putting a metal fork into a microwave and turning it on high. Not a good idea. If nothing happened during your MRI, dont worry about it. They would have known it. It would have been magnetized and sparked right off your clothing if it was serious.

nothing, it will fly with magnetic field, problem is when you forget something larger, in our hospital they forget oxygen cylinder with patient, which fly and kill him when he was in the room

i think it can react with the equipment and it might explode.....the spot where the metal is. lol
