No worse that a Creationist. Life is more precious to a atheist because he doesn't believe in a after life. And there are tons of creationists in the jail system right now. The bottom line is that it's a question of personal morals.

They could force some of the more particular religious influences out of our laws. So -- the worst thing they could do turns out to be a good thing.

As I am an atheist, I'm not concerned. The only things I want to see is that we do not try to enforce morality through law and that our children are taught real science and not myths-as-science.
There are no gods, but religion still exists.

I'm not concerned about Atheists doing anything to me. I just pray for them. Their minds are dark and confused. They claim to be wise, but they become utter fools instead. Romans 1:18-32 Holy Bible New Living translation.

I am not concerned with what an atheist can do to me. The bible is very clear that in the end christians will be persecuted for their beliefs... we will never become a "complete christian society." Now that doesn't mean I sit back and watch them try to take away my freedom to worship and smile about it... I do my part in the political world to try to keep my freedoms but I don't fret about it because ultimately God's will be done. MY main concern is not what they can do to me, but that they will die in their tresspasses and spend an eternity with God. To be in Hell, away from the presence of God, forever and not know His love... that is my concern for them.

It is not the atheists that concern me but the Christians who try to shove their religion down my throat or kill my people in the name of their God.
How many atheists have come to your door trying to sell their way of life?????

More people would want to be Atheists. The worst thing they can do is question you're religion and make fun of it, I HATE IT WHEN THEY DO THAT!

Ultimately, nothing!
Personally I find alot of atheists to be disrespectful of my beliefs and on RS they tend to be quite rude. Politically, I find that they lack conviction and their morals considering several issues such as abortion concern me considerably.
Also, I would not want my kids to be lied to at school. Evolution should NEVER be taught as fact.

Unbelief is the enemy to faith and faith is the substance of things hoped for, the enemy of things not seen. Ultimately Atheists can do nothing to us it's only an illusion when it seems they are "Winning" by changing their Mantra's of unbelief. Christ Jesus will prevail in the end. But they do delay the process of someone getting a chance to know about Jesus sometimes because they are quick to say THERE IS NO GOD THERE IS NO GOD. Its like fighting a windstorm.
