They argue between themselves all the time. They say they are the ones who it right. I thought the only issue was to believe in Jesus. Skip the crap in between.

I don't know anyone that's arguing. I am not. I know the truth, and that's it.

There are many denominations in Christianity, that must be what you are talking about. Those are man-made, so that is the main problem.

I am not in a denomination, I believe in Jesus Christ and the Bible and have a church that goes with that.

I have a tendency to agree with you. There are too many "Christians" arguing about too many things.

I like the motto: K.I.S.S. = KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!

Give the gospel message clearly and simply. Jesus died to pay for the sin of the world, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. In a nutshell, that's what we need to believe and trust in for our eternal security. (I Corinthians 15:1-4 but particularly verses 3 and 4).

We also need to confess before the Lord we are sinners in need of salvation before believing. (Romans 10:9)

The denominations are arguing over things that do not pertain to our eternal security. However, there are some who teach one can lose their salvation which is wrong! (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38, 39; I Corinthains 1:4-8; I Peter 1:5)

They argue over ... Baptism: 1) Is it a requirement for salvation? (NO! It's an ordinance like communion) 2) How to do it ... dip, dunk, sprinkle, submerge .. frontwards or backwards? All one needs to do is read the Bible. It's very clear on the subject.

The Great Tribulation Period: None, Pre or Post. I believe in Pre-Tribulation because there are too many Scriptures that point to this. (I Thessalonians 5:9-11) The rapture takes place before the Tribulation (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) The Great Tribulation Period cannot take place until the "falling away." (II Thessalonians 2:1-12)

The list goes on and on ....... why? It's human nature to find fault and argue, etc.

We are told after our salvation to pick up our cross and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to walk worthy of our calling. We should always be striving to please the Lord in our thoughts, speech, and actions but these works are not part of our salvation but done with thanksgiving for all He did for us and continues to do in our lives.

This is exactly what Paul wrote to the church at Corinth around 55 AD!

"I appeal to you brothers in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought" - I Corinthians 1:10

And we've been fighting ever since! Heck, we're Christians sure - but we're also human!

No the only requirement is that they believe in God and follow the teachings of jesus as outlined in the bible. The problem is that no one reads their bible and they violate the teachings in it every day by allowing themselves to be wrapped up in human affairs and whoring themselves out to human governments.

They have in effect left God as their ruler and are not true christians.

Yes. I believe so. If someone wants to know the truth, they should read the Bible for themselves. The truth is there in black and white.

Ha! They've been trying to do that for thousands of years. Ever heard of the Council of Nicaea? Or how about the Reformation?
