I got the ps3 spiderman 3 dvd in it, so can someone tell me can it play ps2 games

The only PS3 that can't play PS2 games is the 40GB PS3 and it comes with the Spiderman 3 DVD, so that's the one that you got. You wont be able to play PS2 games with it though.

Tough luck . If u got the spiderman dvd then u have the 40GB which does not support backward compatibility and therefore does not support PS2 games. If u need confirmation check this out

If u have the 40 gb ps3 u cant. only the 80 gb can play ps2 games.

depends if you have the $400 or $500 new ones the old ones both play ps2 games
