Here is a better question.
Why do people waste so much money on many things like plane tickets and such, so much money that you can keep more than 10 people from dying.

An interesting thing too is, how do they figure out they wanna be together if they are apart to begin with anyways?

so conceptually.
person A leaves U.S.A. to go to, say mexico.
then gets "in love" or is it lust, whatever.
so person A goes back to U.S.A. and wants to import their "lover"
thats the case right?
if its truly love.
Option 1

Person A gets out of U.S.A to be with that person.
or
Person A stays in U.S.A because no matter how "loving" they are, they just cant stand living in mexico,, no matter how much they "love " each other.
a kind of love that knows no bounds, well at least all the way up to the border....

FOR RICHER FOR POORER... I guess that doesn't apply right?- explains the "s.

As for the topic that even male female marriages can get that way... Sure they can, but I never said I supported those marriages.

In fact I don't even support dating, thats another topic altogether, but to simplify, I believe that there are certain things (LOTS OF THINGS) that need to be present in both people before they should even think of marriage or unions..

Not wanting to Leave the U.S.A for that person is one example of a failed test.
I am willing to be with you, as long as it is some place I can earn lots of money and be comfortable.

Grace and Peace, Wisdom to the humble.
