Basically.. I like this boy and he really likes me coz he tells me all the time but i keep pushing him down becoz he is my ex's best mate, but i really like him. I still have small feelings for my ex and i no if i go out wiff his best mate he will hate me forever! but he kinda did the same fing to me, but i made him stop the relationship he was about to begin wiff my best friend, i feel like i should go ahead wiff it coz he did the same to me and he's been treating me like **** so why not? but i dont want him to go mad and do the worst :| HELP!

I think this guy is not serious.
But this situation is really complicated.
Sometimes guys confuse friendship with love,and they are illusioned and can't help cheating . That's the problem of guys,you know.
Maybe you'll find a new man, even better,very soon.

It would probably be best to stay out of that situation. It is more trouble than it is going to worth in the long run. Try starting over with someone new or you are going to have more drama than you are ready for. Stay away from both of them, romantically. Most of the times friendship wins out on these things. Then you wont even have him as a friend.

If those feelings are so ''small'' then why bother asking Yahoo Answers?
Obviously your feelings for ur ex are strong enuff to be taken seriously, so i recommend you do. Besides does the other guy let his best friend know that he is going after his ex? Tell Mr Best Mate to come completely clean with his pal b4 making a move on her ex.
If he can do that, then perhaps everything that follows becomes ok.

Well, if he did the same thing to you, GO FOR IT...this happened to me before, and I couldn't believe it. He had messed around with my friend... I felt soooo bad!
Girl go for it, he deserves to feel how you felt. Just make sure to NEVER get back with your ex...i was in the same situation 4 years ago...i went back to him...and you should see me now... Im suffering real bad, AND he treats me like s***
How old are you? I was 14 when that happened

Your choice depends on the type of person you are. Are you really doing this to get back at him cause it's not worth it in the end. Also, if this other guy was a true friend of your Ex, he would not be trying to get at you. If he'll do it For You, he'll do it To You! Remember what goes around comes around... I'd find someone new.
