We are hard wired to want to belong and be accepted. It's a tribal thing. People who were not accepted in tribal times would not survive, or would always live on fringes of tribal life.
No one is immune to rejection. Just try to keep it in perspective.

No one is immune to rejection, it always hurts.
You have to meet a lot of people to find the one that is right for you. This process involves being told "no."
Nothing you can do about this but understand that it is part of life, and learn to accept rejection without thinking that there is something wrong or unattractive about you.
It's not YOU - it's just the way people find and choose their partners. It's hard not to take it personally, but dealing with disappointment is also a part of life.
Don't let a rejection get you down. What if you were rejected by three people and got sad and decided not to ask anyone anymore - and the fourth person you would have asked would have said yes and been perfect for you?
Good luck!

Maybe you are NOT immune to rejection, no one is. As humans we have a great capacity for emotions, we may be able to control how we act or react to emotions but can not control the emotion. Being rejected is by far the hardest emotion to deal with, it can make or mark the path a person takes in life, you, all of us have 2 choices see things in a positive light, learn from the rejection or take the negative side and harbor feelings of despair and or hate. The later will make you a very sad, unhappy person, the earlier will brighten your horizons and I guarantee increase you friend list. The choise is yours.

It's only human and natural to feel that way. Just try to get over it and get on with your life asap. It sounds like you do a good job of not taking rejection personally, but you have to cut yourself some slack and realize those little not-so-good feelings are going to creep in sometimes.

Making an investment in Romance can be expensive. But then the payoff can be wildly successful. I'm all for addressing the wounds, applauding and cherishing what worked, assessing what to improve next time, and whole-heartedly going for a successful next venture. Viva la risk factor! Wishing you luck and love.

Nobody is immune to rejection. Everybody will get hurt if being rejected, but the more important thing is how he/she reacts after being rejected.

Some people develope a "thicker skin" with age and life experiences even though they are sensitive to other peoples thoughts and criticizms. Some people are just more sensitive than others. That doesn't make it bad, it's just how they are and have to learn to live with it. Most people do not really have a "I do not give a sh** " attitude. They have developed it as to not be so hurt.

Rejection hurts everyone...and there is no vaccine that I know of to take away the sting of it...but cheer up it means you have a sensitive side and that you can feel...

I don't think anyone is immune to rejection. Some people take it better than others, but it always stings.

I don't know many people who like rejection...it does suck and it can hurt. You are normal, just don't give up and keep moving ahead...take rejection with a grain of salt you know?
