My dogs got fleas all the time and frontline / baths don't work but I've heard that neems is good for that also he's a poodle and they have sensitive skin so maybe it'd help with that too? Just want to know if anyone else has done it

Frontline does work, but not if you bath the dog first! You have to wait 48 hours after bathing before you can apply it, and you have to wait 48 hours after bathing before applying it, or it can't work. Bathing washes off the natural oils, which Frontline requires to work.

If you don't like Frontline, switch to one of the other veterinary spot-ons like Advantage, Revolution or Advocate. They are all different chemicals. Don't resort to 'natural' remedies, because fleas are a fair bit tougher than that. First ensure you're using the Frontline correctly - getting it all on the dog's skin, not his fur - and you probably need to spray the house too.

For a flea shampoo mix 2 tablespoons of Neem into 17 ounce bottle of shampoo of your choice. For a yard spray mix the Neem with water and a mild dish soap like Dove. I tried the Neem/water mix with the same results. I just kept shaking the bottle as I sprayed.
