Don't starve!
Join the gym. Increase your veggie intake (especially your greens) and your carb intake, decrease your protein intake a bit and halt fat altogether.
Drink AT LEAST 1.5 litres of water and try herbal teas.
Walk instead of using transport. Dance infront of your mirror.
Good luck and Merry Christmas!

I am on the Cambridge diet and I can not reccommend it highly enough. With Cambridge you don't need to think about food at all. You have 3 sachets a day - either drinks or soups. After 2 weeks you can introduce a chew bar. After 4 weeks you add a meal a day. All the products are delicious, really tasty (and I am quite fussy) You lose on average a stone a month. I have tried many other weight loss programmes but this is working the best for me as it is easy to stick to.

When my morose gf broke up with me via an email (with a btw I’ve been seeing one of your friends) I had to treat it as the loss of a loved one. So I spent a couple of weeks in prayer and fasting. I had a few extra pounds going into it but I wasn’t doing it for weight loss. However I did end up dropping about 20% of my weight. This was just before Thanksgiving. I’ve only put a few pounds back on since.
Was it healthy? – Probably not.
Could I have done it just to lose weight? – Definitely not.
Can a person really go a week without food? - Sure. It actually gets easier after a few days.
Would I reccomend it? - No

Depends how much you want to lose, and how long.
In a month, you can lose from 8-14 lbs, if you do stuff like eat healthier, excersise 30 minutes a day, and have 1200 kcls :)

really need to consider what my co-workers and i use...they are recordings (some are cds some are downloads) to change the way you think about food and exercise. It totally makes you crave exercise (that was weird for me, 'cause i used to not like to do any exercise!)...and i get full on half portions...company is called Independent Achievement and has been written up in Healthcare Review as something that works. Good Luck
