Your best savings will be right after Christmas and even Right after New Years Day. Watch the paper in your area and compare prices between the stores you are shopping at. Remember to figure in the cost of the high priced gasoline for your car, sometimes, the value of saving a few dollars is wiped out by the cost of gas to get there. Also some stores match or beat other stores advertised specials. Shop till you drop and enjoy yourself.

Stores are completely desperate right now, and are doing anything to get people shopping. Sales are incredible. (There's less reason to shop for gifts after Christmas.)

However, you'll get better deals on holiday-related things (gift wrap, etc.) after Christmas.
