OMG! You should never have fish and milk in the same day.

I have always heard not to eat fish while drinking milk.I believe that is fresh fish though.I have ate fish sticks & drank milk together.I am still here & I believe to be OK.LOL.I think you will be fine unless it is fresh fish,then I'm not sure.Good Luck & Merry Christmas!

That is fine. Many people eat both at the same meal and are thriving. Did someone tell you that would be a problem? They might have been misinformed or just kidding you.

30 minutes shouldnt' be a problem.

When I batter a fish I DUNK it in milk before dredging it in flour and frying.

You don't butter your fish? Your not going to get sick from it. Unless your lactose intolerant then you should never drink milk.

Outside of leaving a fishy-milky (yuck) taste in your mouth there shouldn't be any problem.
