I am an Indian.I like Nepal specially for the scenic beauty.Can I get the citizenship of Nepal?

hey u luv nepal!!!that's weird cuz many indians think that Nepali ppl r weird!!!!U can get get the citizenship if u were born in nepal or if ur parents were nepali!!!but still if u wanna get citizenship then these r the criteria:
1.u must knw to read n writ nepali language(Devnagari script)
2.u must live in Nepal for 15(don't knw the specific year) years
3.u must serve Nepal in a good way.
4.u must be really good with nepali ppl n respect them!!
BUT STILL I DON'T THINK U WILL GET CITIZENSHIP CUZ U GET CITIZENSHIP OF NEPAL IF U WERE BORN IN NEPAL OR UR PARENTS WERE NEPALII!!!!!BUT STILL BEST OF LUCK FOR IT!!!*^_^*

Well, first Nepal is not India. It's the State of Nepal, a small independent country north of India.
Can you get Citizenship? Hard to say, you have to ask the Nepal government what they require. Follow the second link listed below for help on the requirements (it looks like there may be some effort involved).
Also, some country's do not allow "dual/multiple citizenship". Look at the third link for advice.

Getting citizenship is not abig thing. But before that think about the country which has given all the support to u. U must the feeling of love towards ur country. Dont just try going nepal because of its beauty!

You dont need to get citizenship. You have visa free travel to Nepal. Check out wikipedia on Nepal and check out visa free travel countries.

It depends upon the policies of Nepal. I am a little confused. If you like the beauty of Nepal, do you want a "visa" or a "citizenshp"?

no restrictions on INDIAN visiting Nepal. so why like to have citizenship.

if you are indian than you must love your country india their are as many as scienires in india rather than Nepal.In front of India it isso small and you proud of your country and be happy in the events and festivels of India which are very-very more than Nepal

First you'll have to get a Passport. I didn't think Indians believed in the requirments of getting a passport because they claim they are not American Citizens.
