I drink alot of cheaper vodkas, straight on the rocks. But of course, like with alot of cheap drinks, they will give you headaches and a nasty hangover in the morning.
For New years Eve, I want to say good-bye to 2007, because it was the crappiest year I've ever had. I want to celebrate with a high quality little-more-expensive vodka that taste good and won't give me headaches.. any suggestions? I was thinking maybe Grey Goose or Belevedere Vodka?

If you've been drinking grain vodkas, switch to potato. You might be getting a headache from the grain and not the cheapness of the booze.
Also, drink a glass of water before bed.

Try Kettle One or any that have been charcoal filtered. Avoid the ones that are made from grain. Your nasty headaches could be an allergy to the grain used in making the vodka. There's also one made in Austin, Texas that just currently I can't remember the name of it, but it's made in small batches by hand and it has a brownish gold label on it. It is awsome and not expensive. Keep your vodka in the freezer. Also leave off the sugar sweet mixers. It's the excessive sugar that's giving you the hangover. Also if you can remember to drink at least 2 to 3 glasses of water before retiring you won't be so dehydrated and will not have a hangover or at least it will be less severe.

Chopin seems to be the answer. I love the flavor of Ketel One, but always end up with a headache. I did some experimenting and discovered that the grain based vodkas cause the headaches. Chopin is a different flavor, but it is tasty and does not have the same hangover as it's grain based counterparts.

I think the main reason you get a headache is the amount of alcohol you drank.
But, I like stolichnaya, grey goose is expensive at the bar but it's fine.

SKYY vodka is distilled with the removal of headache causing toxins in mind.
Honestly, that is why the owner started the brand.
I don't like it much, but it should do the trick for you.

OKay because you do not drink much of the hight quality one because it costs more money so you get hammered on the cheap or your gut is big and can take in large amounts of alcohol.
