Refried beans
Dried package of taco seasoning
sourcream
taco sauce
diced tomatoes
balck olives
shredded lettuce
shredded cheddar cheese
Mix some of the taco seasoning into the refried beans until you find the spice you like
Layer beans onto a tray and pop in the microwave to get warm
Top and layer on all the other ingredients to how you like it. I personally like to do the sourcream first along with a little taco sauce, then the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and then leave the olives for last.
You can also subsitute ground beef or chicken for the beans or add them in besides the beans. You can also do this with a can of chili with or without beans.

How about some "Pico DE Gio" . Chop or dice up 2 good size cloves of garlic, 3-4 Italian tomatoes, 1/2 bell pepper, 1/3 onion, 1 fresh green jalapeno ( if it has brown marks on the outside it is very hot ) add a dash of white vinegar, a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, & add a pinch of leaf dried oregano. Let marianade for a couple hours in frig. Enjoy. Add black beans to your taco's.

If you make your own Salsa you control the amount of heat in it. A fresh easy salsa is simply this, seed and finely chop one tomato, small onion, green pepper, celery, salt and pepper to taste, you can add to this amount one half a small jalapeno pepper and that will give you what most people rate as mild. Let this sit for an hour so the flavours can marry.
You can mix salsa and sour cream together for a dip some folks do that too, although that's not up our alley lol

It's not technically a taco dip, but it's Mexican, easy and mighty tasty.
Spread 2 packs of room temperature cream cheese in the bottom of a baking dish, pour on a jar of salsa. Then bake it on 350 for about 10 minutes. You don't want it bubbly, you just want it to be hot. Serve with tortilla chips.

This is easy and oh so yummy
Mexican Bean Dip
1 16 oz can refried beans
1 7.8 oz jar taco sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 TBSP snipped chives
tortilla chips
Mix beans and 2 TBSP taco sauce together and spread into 2 qt casserole. Cook ground beef , salt and 1/4 cup taco sauce till brown. Drain, sprinkle over beans. Pour remaining sauce (1/2 cup) over beef and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 till cheese is melted. Remove from oven, cool 10 minutes. Blot oil with paper towels on top of cheese. Mix sour cream with chives, spread over cheese. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
This is easy, and quick. You can modify it any way you want.
