this is in England.

At the moment he as a renault grand scenic. He wants to get the same again when his company car is up for renewal in a few months, as it has LOADS of space (he's manager of two offices so is often carrying 5+ boxes of files around). He also cannot live without the little keycard key. The one that's like a credit card and you can carry it in your pocket the whole time, and you lock the car by pressing the button on the outside of the drivers door? He also can't live without his folding wingmirrors.

So my question: What other cars (need to be as large as the grand scenic) have the keycard ignition and folding wingmirrors? And which is the best of those in your opinion?

They need to be in the price range of an 07 grand scenic, so about £13000, less if possible.

Or should he just stick to the grand scenic? Just seems a bit daft having a people carrier for a 52 year old man with 2 children who both drive and have cars.

Focus. Wtf. We have an 05 focus zetec as another of our cars and it doesn't have anything like the spec I've asked for. NO room in the boot or the back, has a normal ignition key, normal wingmirrors, stupidly low, ugly, too big, not high enough, stupid car.

Tyler P: Are you talking about my dad? He's been working since he was 16 years old, he was an orphan at 7, and in 37 years of work he's had TWO days off - the day I was born and the day my brother was born. He's manager of two branches of a company and has pulled them out of almost failure, and he covers over 600 miles a WEEK travelling to and from his branches, so when YOU'VE done that, lets see how much you deserve.

Then again, you probably won't, because you'll never be the man my father is.

He could easily request a merc - the reps in his company have technically better cars than he has - but he doesn't.

People like you are worthless.

If you want a people mover with that kit, you'll probably have to stick with the Renault for now. Peugeot do a similar model but it doesn't use the keycard and they put a TINY speedometer in the center of the dash instead of in front of the driver -- totally mad IMHO. It does have the auto-folding wing mirrors though. VW do the Trouran but again it doesn't use the keycard and the last one I drove didn't do the wing mirror bit either.
