“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33
They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. Titus 1:16
Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me Isaiah 29:13
If you are really a Christian why is it so hard to tell others about the God that matters most to you over everything else in your life? You should love to get the chance to tell others about the hope you have in Christ Jesus! People usually talk about what is most important to them. So what do you talk about? Is Jesus the most important to you? Is your life really revolving around Jesus if you are not confessing him to others? If you are not telling other about Jesus you might just be fooling yourself.

Many today say yes to a Saviour.
And no to a Lord.
If this is the case, they are saved from nothing at all.We need to have Him be the Lord of our life, as well as our Saviour.

We confess Jesus Christ with our lips but if our life does not backup what our lips profess then we are as a sounding brass and a tinkling symbol.
A great day in my life happened some time after I was saved when I read and realized that I have my being in him. What that means is that my life is his . I live because he lives, I will never die because he will never die,I have what is called eternal security because he said that I do. I am in Christ!
Listen God wants us to use our lips to tell others about Jesus Christ but if our lives do not backup our lips then our report will not be believed. It is very important that we have a good testimony if people are to believe what we say.

As a person who was raised agnostic/atheist and converted to Christianity, I must say that no matter how someone shares their faith ("lips or life"), it must be done with love and respect. If the sharing of Jesus' message is done with aggression and judgment, many people will be turned off.
For me, it is when I saw how wonderful a life with Christ was that I began to go to church. It was the love, dignity, and peace my Christian friends and co-workers expressed that made me realize I was missing something. But... there were many pushy Christians that I met too, and they made me want to become a Buddhist!
There are many ways for us to shine our light. Speaking is but one of them. If we are truly connected to the Spirit, truly living a life with Christ, then our hearts will know how to share the message. And that message will be a beautiful thing for many people to witness/hear.
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. "
Peace.

I"m not a traditional Christian, but I do attempt to live my life in the way that Jesus told us to follow. And I recommend others do the same. It's just good living for the most part. Remember, it wasn't Jesus who said homosexuality was a sin, it was the church. It wasn't Jesus who said to try and force your faith on someone else, he just asked you to tell people about him. Jesus asks us to live as he did, kind, caring, accepting, and giving. I'm happy to do that!

Each person has been uniquely gifted by God to spread His message of love and forgiveness.
I personally prefer to first win people's hearts with my love and care for them. and after that they may be more open to HEAR what I have to say about my Savior and Lord. People today are flooded with words but starved for love.
May I also remind you of this verse: "Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand."Rom. 14:4

The problem is that every religion wants to convert everyone to their belief, because they say that your belief (opinion) is wrong. The true religion bickering is becoming a vicious circle. If God credit for allowing all the religions to exist.

We must verbally speak the Gospel. It is not enough to just live a certain way. They must hear the truth.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

I pray that I confess Him with my lips, and also with my life. I want my heart to be near Him. IF I speak His name and then do what displeases Him, what good is that?
