Has anyone else heard this?

I actually got an email stating 2010 as the year. Yea. I know about the Mayan calendar, but suspect my unlearned collegue made this up. So, I sent an email to my group forbidding further discussion. He now says he never said it, yet I have the email. Still, the topic is now closed

The dates are strictly from someones imagination. God alone knows the exact time and day of Christs return. No one can know for sure-it is just a way to get some attention for their ministry program.

These kinds of things are predicted over-and-over again. You may want to read up on the "Great Disappointment" in Wikipedia for one such example of the predicted 2nd coming.
