Incredible! That the British constitution would still prohibit their Prime Minister from being a certain Faith tradition (specifically Roman Catholic)!
It is a private matter, in order to protect England from its institutionalize bigotry against Catholics! How embarrassing for the British people. They act as if their government and culture is SOOOOO progressive, then their Constitution openly enacts second class citizenship to their former Prime Minister. Blair was probably already Catholic in Spirit and Truth why advising the British Monarchy during the War of Terror.
Congratulations to the Blair family. I only wished they would have publicly challenged the law against the Catholic citizens in England.

Yes, this is a private matter.
I do not know Mr Blair's current role in politics which may or may not have a connection.
Mr Blair attended Catholic Mass with his Catholic wife and four children but he was not a Catholic.
Remember the Catholic Church accepts all recovering sinners. No repentant sinner is ever turned away.

He, as well as all of us, has the right to say what ever he wants to about anything that he, we or us, wants to. Those who don't like it or don't want to hear it; just need to ignore it.
In a free world. Everything is permissible.
Good for Tony Blair. I like him very much. I wish him the best.
Mind YOU, so he referred to GOD once while talking about Iraq attack and all the other stuff you mentioned. So What? Things change, comments change. Religion is free choice or denial. Some things are private matters to some people. But, it's okay for people to say what they feel and share their thoughts. I admire that in him.

It has plenty to do with international politics. The genocidal Vatican has been running things in most countries behind the scenes for years by the murderous Jesuits and the Knights of Malta and other such organizations. Their goal is a one world government with themselves at the top.
This move by Blair is evidence that he's been working for the genocidal Vatican for his entire career. Why else do you think he wanted so badly to get the UK under the thumb of the EU?
