Boxer if you live in a warm climate. You have to get an All Fawn, they will have a little black around the muzzle though. They are very smart dogs and learn quickly. They are great with kids and make good guard dogs while still being a good pet at the same time.

But to be honest the best thing for you to do is to go down to you local Humane Society or Pound and pick a dog from there. They may not be a full breed but I have found through the years that they will take less money when it comes to vet bills because they are healthier than a full breed.

Here are some links for other breeds

there are a catrillion dogs that match that description but the one that comes immediately to mind it the Old English Mastiff, they are brown, big ( can weigh up to 250lbs) have brown eyes and they have very short fur. also grey hound, they are tall not heavy, brown, extremely short fur, brown eyes, just go to the akc website or wiki pedia ( i probably didn't spell that right) online. and take your pick, most dogs come in brown color and have brown eyes, and many of the have short fur. the height of the dog is where you have to narrow it down to.

You should get
http://www.puggle.org/ .....a puggle!! Theyre are sooo cute and get to be a fair size..not HUGE though. But please look at the SPCA first! So many of those dogs get put to sleep and the only reason many of them are in there is because they were abused. But you probably want a puppy. I recommend getting from a breeder also because supporting pet stores is wrong. They treat the animals so bad before they bring them to the stores where the end up rolling around in their own feces. Akitas are also really nice dogs..they are like alaskan malamutes but brown fur and a tail thats a little different. Good luck!

Look for a certified breeder. You will pay top dollar but the investment is the reward of a life time friend. Or take a risk and rescue a dog from a pound. We all need to be saved. Good luck.

Seems like you have described half the world's dog population. The best thing to do would be to go to the AKC site and research the different dog breeds. Each dog has their own breed standard and characteristics. Figure out what dog would work the best in your situation and then research a reputable breeder.

I would say a Beagle. I have one with all of those things. They get about afoot and a half off of the ground. Great with kids and for hunting.

A Chesapeake Bay Retriever fits that, however they can be a little strong-willed and stubborn.
