YES !! you did not lose the ability to love again !! next time you fall in love you will know not to make the same mistakes that caused you to lose your past love !! so in a way you won !! because your next love will be stronger and last alot longer -- because you know what its like to lose love !!you will make better choices now!! WAKE UP !! - forget about the past !! get out there and work on your future !!!!!

I think so, though it's difficult to argue in favor of that point while you're in the midst of mourning love lost. Once the haze clears, however, you'll remember the good times and theings you've shared that would not have been possible in any other context....then you'll see what a marvelous blessing love actually is, even when it's fleeting. To those times...
Happy Holidays!

Yes, because without knowing love you would die a little empty for not having the experience. All loves are tragedies waiting to happen i.e. if a couple met when young and stay together for the rest of their lives - unless they die at exactly the same time of each other they will lose each other eventually. Life is learning to love without being afraid of the loss and also when we lose someone we have to keep our hearts open to future love. Its when we close our hearts that we truly die.
