Depends on how you measure success. If you are a woman I doubt any Islamic country treats you as an equal. Until Islam joins the rest of the world in the 21st century they will always be 2nd class

The most successful countries in the world are those that seperate religion and state.
If I had to choose a country that is predominantly muslim I would say Libya that has universal healthcare, 100% employment, a high standard of Education and also tolerates other religions.

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, members of the UAE. The are pretty well advanced in development, education, and infrastructure. the have reached a balance between the religious beliefs and the managements of civil and criminal law. Muc more tolerant of change.
the are also entering nto the family of accessable nations, economic deelopment other than oil income.
Not so certain about the safety of Western or Euro travelers but far better in this aspect than other nations in the area.

How do you describe success Mike. Is it on thriving economy as Britain seems to always say its a successful country on that basis doesn't it.
it would if you look at the link show that there are a few countries that have a majority of Muslims are in the top 100 of nations.

Depends on how you define success. Personally, I would say the UAE having visited Dubai and having (non-muslim) friends there.

Successful in what way. Those which appear "successful" would certainly not be, were it not for their oil revenues.
