I hear you, I walked into EMT class one day just as a fellow INSTRUCTOR was saying," so if the infant has an increased heart rate, in theory you could put it in the refridgerator to slow the rate down..." ... ummm, needless to say I took over the class and we had a talk with our chief afterwards.

yeah, one EMT brought this guy in with a sat of 50. We couldn't figure it out till we took his shirt off and he still had the tourniquet on lol

Please tell me you corrected their method or failed them at the very least!! I think I'd rather administer my own first aid then have them work on me!! What was their method for choking - kiss the victim and french kiss it out??
