My family normally have party food and lots of alcohol together xmas day and then a roast on boxing day. Xmas day the kids are too busy with their toys and too full of chocolate etc that they dont really want a big dinner, and the adults are too full of alcohol to eat too!!!

No. I am lucky because my father cooks and he always changes it up for the holidays between traditional meals, Italian meals, Mexican meals and a lot more. But I do know some people who traditionaly have a roast.

Yes.
It seems it's tradition for my family to have roast beef for boxing day and a buffet on the tea time.
No wonder we pile on the pounds at christmas !

We have on of my favourite dinners on St. Stephen's Day. Cold Christmas ham and homemade chips drowned in vineagar with mountains of bread and butter and pots of tea. And if there's a few mushy peas left over.......all the better.
