Whilst i would never have left children of any age alone, it seems that the McCanns genuinely felt that they were completely safe in that holiday complex and everyone made frequent checks on them throughout the evening. When i was a child in the 70s we used to go to Pontins holiday camps and it was quite common to leave the children alone in the chalets whilst the adults had an evening out in the bar/ballroom - and we are always being told that child kidnap is no worse than it was back then.

No. It has two bars left and honestly, I would rather messages than calls, then I wouldn't have to talk so much

My phone conversations always seem to be filled with awkward silences...um yeah

I have two charging. If the 12 year old will leave them alone, I'll be good.

no, its rolled up tightly in a towel, tucked under my spare tire in the trunk of my car (so the people i kidnap can't find it and call for help unless they are really smart)
