Some people may be offended, but I think the majority of people don't really care. It does however, make you appear immature and as the answer prior to mine pointed out, a "sick puppy". So long as you don't mind people's first impressions of you, then it doesn't matter. If you don't want to appear as a weirdo to the entire online community, then changing it might be beneficial.
