it's not exactly an item, but my son is the most precious to me, everything else are just "things". Basically if we had a fire (knock on wood it never happens), he would be the only "belonging" I would make sure got out wtih me.

My cat Maverick who I bottle fed from 5 days old. Items in my house are material things. Don't care about that kind of stuff....
