I prefer to hang about with girls all the time because their minds aren't always stuck in sex mode so they talk about alot more things and joke about alot more things. I admit if I was a girl I'd probably have to compete with the girls but seen as I'm a guy it is much less competive then hanging about with the guys and the girls tend to be less aggressive and are also much more interesting, guys just play football everyday which can be really boring, I admit girls just talk and gossip everyday but gossip and that always changes, footballs just the same everyday. Also it is easier to get girlfriends as I can become friends with themn first and then ask them out after a month or so and then even if we split we usually have a friendship to fall back on depending on the terms we broke up.
What about you, boys girls or both?

Just to say I used to hang about with aload of guys and I used to get into all sorts of trouble when I did that, once me and this kid peed in the caretakers garden at the school I went to from 5-6years old. Then I was moved to another, stricter school so I'd stop causing trouble and there I hung about with both and became a chav and was almost driven to a life of crime as I used to put windows through and the lot with my mates and I carried on like that until high school where I met my exgirlfriend and then I started hanging about with girls all the time and I've become a bit girly but it's better then getting put behind bars, never did happen but I did get in a lot of police chases and got very close to it.

I prefer to hang with girls because:
A) We have the same basic outlook on the world in many ways
2) Guys are complete Neanderthals
D) It's much more enjoyable to hang with one's own kind.

Quite simply, I don't hang about with anyone right now as I have returned to being reclusive after spending my twenties being exploratory and somewhat promiscuous. The bulk of my contact with others is indirect such as on this site. What I need right now is to get together with people in non-sexual situations where I can just enjoy being in the company of others and nothing further. As you know, I am male.
GirlInside: "Guys are complete Neanderthals" is a huge generalisation: I would say that it's just a case that such guys make more noise and make you oblivious to those that are not remotely in this category (although I must admit I can be aggressive in my role as a chef...)

I like to hang out with both, but must disagree with you on the gals not always being in sex mode. Things have changed a lot over the last couple of decades and I think that women are much more dirty minded than men are now (at least in the medical field)

Well, you always need your bros. They can relate to you better than anyone. You don't want to be "that guy" who only hangs around with girls and everyone comes up with a crazy reason why. But, the grass ALWAYS seems greener on the other side. I'm a girl and I think girls are immature. I know that boys my age are also immature, but at least in general, their immaturity doesn't cause them to hurt other people. Still, I know that I need girls and each gender has its own great qualities! Girls are generally more empathetic and like talking.

I have lots of friends both male and female but i tend to hang around with girls more because there are girls there that i 'like' and i agree with you alot about football and other reasons, the girls i hang about with do tend to be less aggresive aprt from one but shes a great mate whos not afriad to speak her mind and some of my male mates are a bit immature.

I'm a girl, and I'm more comfortable hanging out with the guys. To me, the girls are always so much more judgmental and picky about things, and the guys don't really care as long as you have a sense of humor. But I hang out with the nerdy guys, and since I'm kind of a nerd also, it works out perfectly.

Both. Its like a gang 4 girls, 3 boys. Its cool but the guys keep teasing the girls so the just kick them. I'm a girl.

i am a female and i prefer to hang out with guys. i work in a machine shop with 50 employees or so and maybe 8 of us are women. its easy to talk to guys cause they dont always complain and have to compare themselves to you. im not really girlie so we dont talk about make up and the next outfit were going to buy or wear. guys are more honest when there not around there spouses as well. you could ask a guy how is your day going and they would answer something simple like good and you. a women could talk your ear off! im pmsing and i couldnt find nothing to wear and my dog died, my aunts in the hospital, and i just dont know what im going to cook for dinner.... and it goes on.. lol lol lol lol

I prefer to hang out with guys. They aren't b.itches like some girls are. All girls do is talk about other girls, and I'm not like that. I'm a Sunday football watchin type of girl!
