The secret to evolving is to throw away the bad but keep the good. I agree with feminists that we need to eliminate discrimination, but there is no reason we have to throw away femininity. I think we need to question the leadership of any movement, are they really pushing towards making us a better species?

I'm not frightened of feminists in the sense of individuals but I do fear their agenda to destroy the family (largely now succeeded) and the continual bashing of men. I've said a million times that I have not yet come upon a 'study' from a feminist which has something good to say about men.
I even asked a question for sources of man-friendly 'studies' and got directed to a study claiming the average man is a wife beater. Riiiight.
It's so old now.
e.g. in my marriage, my wife took the vast majority of control - usually by brute force & threats rather than agreement. When she couldn't get her own way, she'd call on friends or, most commonly, her so-called mother to join her in battle to get her own way.
I had no problem with her being in charge for the most part, but there were serious issues that came about due to this aggressive control problem she had. I wanted 'our' daughter to meet my mother before she passed away - I was denied this simple request with zero good reason.
I've worked for female bosses and generally don't have an issue toward them. One of the female bosses I had tried to split my ex and I up directly - not because she was interested in me (or her) but because we had threatened legal action against her. She was attempting to divide & conquer.
This mentality is becoming more & more common amongst women today, and seems to correlate alongside the rise in feminism & 'empowerment'. I think too many 'normal' woman are misunderstanding 'empowerment' for 'domination'.
When reading feminist literature (studies, books, etc.) they promote this mentality.

Lol, I seriously doubt men would be afraid of Feminists, but with all the false rumours about all of them being lesbians, guys should be wary of not dropping any soap in the shower.
Haha Oracle, saying that Greer had a nice rack in the 60's. That's pretty funny :P

Progressive masculists don't object to feminism as such (although they may disagree with aspects of it - such as that a minority of feminists see most men as potential rapists). Progressive masculists and the majority of feminists are actually 2 aspects of the same movement (gender egalitarianism).
Unfortunately as in many ideologies, there are extremists - the masculinists who hate feminists (and in some cases all women), and some feminists (who are in the minority) who hate men. Some of these people have probably had extremely bad experiences (e.g. Andrea Dworkin was sexually abused as a child by a man) but I fear that in some cases, it is just irrational hatred based on not getting your own way (if you are in any doubt, look at some of the responses to my last question!)
Anyway, peace and equality for all.

What they find frightening is their own misconception that feminism is ruining everything.
Germaine Greer made a few good points, but many of the things she says just make her look like a shock jock.

Germanine Greer takes things too far - she is very extremist and left-wing in everything she believes in. Take her attitude about reconciliation with Aboriginals - not only does she argue for their rights (which is perfectly legitimate - I support reconciliation), but she also has to prove her point by an unnecessary method of living their culture and acknowledging them as the current owners of Australian land (I mean, come on!) - and received more criticism than praise. Many Australians despise her I assure you - she is an exception.

I met Greer briefly at a symposium on postmodernism at Manchester University in the late 1990s. Never in my life have I heard a woman shout so much. When she passed me a cup during the break she referred to me as 'sweetie' or 'love'. I thought about slapping her @ss as a reply, but it looked like it might collapse in her trousers.
She had nice boobs in the 60s.
Wasn't she the Dean of Durham University?

No we have stated many times why we object to feminism.
We do not fear feminism or feminists. We fear the destruction of families and men's rights.
It makes me laugh every time I hear some feminist bluster about how much tougher they are than a man. It might be possible in the fairy tale world they live in but in real life I think I've got the edge in a fight.

They object to feminism because they don't want to share their power and privilege. You can march out this straw feminist argument again and again, but the fact remain simply a matter of not wanting to relinquish control.
