There really is little problem with paying by credit cards on well known sites, they have security systems in place and it is a lot more secure than paying in a restaurant or garage....where staff have been known to spy out your pin number....also your goods are insured when paid for by credit card..so don't worry, just use normal precautions and use only sites you trust.

No, you cannot. The company has to have an account set up with PayPal. If it does, PayPal will be a payment option upon checkout. I use PayPal wherever it is available, but it is pretty rare at this time. You are smart to not want to give your numbers out, but if the site has a padlock icon on it, you can pretty much trust it. They would not be able to continue getting business if you could get hacked through their site. If I might suggest something, don't ever use a credit card if you have enough money in your account to use a debit card. You will save money by not having to pay any finance charges at ALL, and you still have the protection against fraudulent charges as your regular credit card (if your debit is a Master Card or Visa). I ONLY use my debit card for ALL purchases, and I have PayPal set up as a debit account as well. I pay zero finance charges and owe no bills!!! Sweet!!!

Paypal is only on a few sites. Using your credit/debit card is ok on trusted sites - always check for the little gold padlock when using them to ensure its a secure site.
