There is milder weather coming in from the Atlantic, as the rain hits the colder air then it will snow on the west coast, so yes it will snow in Western Scotland, the hills in northern cumbria, but maybe not in Edinburgh....but it is due to get milder and blustery over Christmas...here endeth the weather forecast.

Snow usually comes at the end of December/beginning of Jan in the UK...... so I think it'll come around then.

I think where you are there is a good chance but in Liverpool the forecast says know ...... watch this space though the weather men have got it wrong in the past.
