Until this year, when we decided on a change, we always sat down to Christmas dinner at 8pm on Christmas day.

This year the plan is to miss breakfast, formerly a monster raving four course gourmet thing and instead go for an early Christmas 'Lunch' at about 3pm.

One item from the former Christmas Breakfast will not be missed and that's the bottle of champers which we will quaff at about 11am onwards.

I expect lunch will be in double vision.
