wherever i go, i see and hear these gap ads...its so annoying...my speakers are broken, i cant turn them off...is there a way i can contact yahoo and tell them to get rid off these ads?

i think from now on i'm gonna associate the gap with annoying ads on yahoo. it's gonna be a long long time before i shop there again!
somebody needs to let them know that annoying people isn't the way to get people to shop there, and i'm sure many answers users rightfully did.
download firefox if you don't have it

when ads show up a little tab comes up on the side that let's you block it or you can right click on it and select block. it got rid of the gap ad for me & all the other annoying ads on this site/other sites

ha ha if we all boycotted gap they would play the adverts even more to drum up more trade!!Cant you turn off the volume on your computer rather than the speakers?I have a lap top so i cant unplugg my speakers but can turn the volume off on the computer to stop the adverts thrashing my head!!!!

mute your speakers. Should be a mute button on your keyboard. Or just follow your speaker wires and unplug them on the back of your tower. Hope I, helped. Happy Holidays..

Are they popups? If you have a popup blocker, make sure it's turned on. I haven't seen any gap ads on here.

i hate them too, but good luck getting Yahoo to pull them. They are PAID ads, and i do not know about you, but i don't have the cash to replace what they would lose.

You can turn down your pc volume if that helps.
At the bottom of the page in small grey text is this:
"Help us improve Yahoo! Answers.Tell us what you think".
Click that link.

I've just muted the sound on my comp...it's much less annoying and I forget the damn ad even plays.

It's so annoying to the point I hate them when they laugh.
