I can't help but think about shooting up my school. As time goes on, the thought frequently occurs.

I even find myself thinking of the school exploits and plans, on accident.

Is there any way I can get help? I want to stop feeling like this, I feel it's going to effect my life.

you need to speak to a psychologist to get help. This is not normal. Do you know what might be causing these feelings? Do you have a lot of friends? please email me if you need to talk

Two questions:

1) Do you own a gun or multiples?
2) Are there specific people you want to get rid of?

If 1 is no then there's little danger of this ever coming true, so you can reduce your stress levels by knowing this is just a thought that's got very stuck. Get them quite often and some of them involve killing perfectly innocent people as well as specific ones, but not got the means to do it so everyone is safe.

If 1 is yes then you might need to go see a doctor about this simply because it's possible the obsession could in theory takeover depending on the cause without your concent.

Suspect this is triggered by a rouge thought which was in turn triggered by various recent shootings. Once they get in there they can feed off your desire to get rid of them and it becomes a vicious circle. In my case it was caused by depression it turned out, but there are various triggers.

If 2 is yes and you *don't* have the means, maybe try visualising liquidating them in a kindof video game scenario. That might help you visualise getting rid of them and thus play out the fantasy* running through your head.

* Fantasies aren't always nice.

talk to your parents let them know what your experiencing, there is help available for these kinds of thoughts,if you can't talk to a parent let a teacher know, a trusted teacher can also help you. or call a crisis counselor in your community,they can also help you find the resources you might need, it 's your actions that follow your thoughts so find something great about your school instead of dwelling on the problems in it. if you are experiencing bullying talk to your counselor, teacher and your parents immediately they can help. good luck.

Please stop thinking like that!!!
it hurts yourself even others(include innocent people). share your problems and obstacles with closed people(family,friends,expert...)
that feeling will not take so long time to be gone from your mind. if you think that feeling in the near future again...you'll think it is not serious. I am sending this message from oversea ...although I can't express my thought correctly.
I wish you could understand what i am saying now!!!
I'll pray for you....^^
